Do not ever trust Weenink Jewellers with any of your valuables. They have poor customer service, communication and are very bad tradesman.
I took two watches to have the crystals replaced and one to be waterproofed with parts I bought directly from Seiko. Instead of listening to what I wanted the watchmaker listened to respond. He constantly talked over me. Telling me that it was the incorrect parts.
I then talken to Jan. He is also a poor listener. I proceeded to explain to him where the seals should go. After a week I had to phone them to ask if the job was completed. On receiving the watch and turning the bezel it summarily dropped off the watch face. The professionals had inserted too many seals… I also had to return the watch to have the wristband inserted correctly. It was inserted the wrong way round.
The second watch was that of a friend. It has only ever been serviced by MeisterSinger. I also ordered replacement lenses from MeisterSinger. I was again told all kinds of stories and that the lenses where used and/or second hand. I replacement lens was offered by Weenink but that of flat variety and not the domed type. I dutifully declined.. They removed the old lens and fitted the new one but, before fitting the new one they stored the watch face without it crystal and therefore unprotected. The watch is a automatic mechanical watch and winds when moved. So it was then stored with the hands moving and something pressed down on the hands. These in turn scratched the watch face. This is a R16000 watch. Jan told me in the most rude manner possible that it is not a big deal and that he will not repair the watch. Now I have to return the watch to MeisterSinger in Germany and have it fixed at my own expense. I hope the mechanism hasn’t been damaged.

It is a very worrying fact that this mall is dirty even during this Pendemic we facing, and the saddest thing is that the management is very rude, racist and can not address people of Colour with respect, I was left almost lost for words after being addressed in a very uncouth way by a lady who claimed to have been the manager of the mall this morning, if the owners and other managers of this mall should address this as soon as possible as this is not the first time it happened hopefully it will be the last, I will keep contacting the until I get the details of the owners of this Business establishment.

Graag wil ek onder u aandag bring dat ek sopas by jul sentrum North Cape mall geval het as gevolg van die plaveisel wat oneweredig is en het my gewrig en skouer en been beseer ek het ongelukkig nie n medies nie want ek verdien nie n groot salaris nie. Ek sal dit waardeer as jul my terugvoering kan gee oor wat my te doen staan. Dankie

Bathrooms are always so dirty.
Im trying to get a hold of the North Cape Mall’s management, but the number from the contact info just keeps ringing. I would like to put in a complaint on one of their tennants who was extremely rude to me. Yet, how can i put in a complaint if the phone keeps ringing.
10:43am and the CellC shop is not even open. Tried call the center management and they don’t even answer there phone. Avoid that CellC branch. Staff and badly trained and there is an air of laziness. Can’t even open on time !!! Spoke to another shop owner and she said that CellC shop opened when they felt like it. Shame on the Mall Management?
A huge concern is the mall’s security. after 6pm you don’t see a guard present.
even during the day you have to go and look for a security guard, and mostly you’ll find them inside the control room sitting in front of the camera’s.

I just want to raise a point of concern. The bathrooms are in a terrible state. You get a nasty smell as from the corner of Panarotti’s on your way to the bathrooms. Inside the ladies, some toilets do not flush properly. No air freshener present.
the toilets are unhygienic and 9 out of 10 times unpleasant using it.
The best mall in Kimberley! Entertainment for the kids!
