After finishing my studies, International Diploma in Fashion Design at Victoria Toma School of Fashion, my passion for bridal and evening wear grew stronger throughout the years. The most thrilling part of my profession is the expression on the client’s face when they fit the final garment and says, ‘it’s perfect’, or ‘I feel like a princess’.

Why book a consultation?

We believe in giving each client our individual attention, so it is important to book your time with us.

How long in advance must I come in to discuss my dress?

As soon as possible as we work on a first come first serve basis. We recommend you order your wedding dress six months before the wedding and three months before your matric dance. No “rush jobs” will be accepted.

Can I bring my best friend/ fiancé/ mother/ bridesmaids?

I prefer for the client to come alone to the initial design consultation. I can get a clearer idea of exactly what you would like if I’m dealing purely with your own wishes.

Can you make me a dress that I can hire?

No, due to the terrible state they are returned, we decided not to hire out dresses.

How do I pay?

* 50% of the amount when the order is placed and the balance before
collection. Fabric is at your own cost and is not included in the quote.
* EFT or cash only

What does a Mandy de Klerk WEDDING GOWN cost?
(Price estimates only and can change without notice – 2014)

* MADE ON YOUR MEASUREMENTS – excluding fabric and trims

R2 000 – R15 000

You can decide if you want to pay R100 per meter or R1000 per meter
for your fabric or lace. All depends on your budget.

Mandy de Klerk Studio (not a shop) is in Kimberley, Northern Cape where Mandy designs, manufactures and meets with her clients. Every measure is taken to ensure your comfort and to provide a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere where you’ll have fun planning your dream gown. If you run late, we have to cut your meeting short in order to be fair to the next client. We would appreciate it if you would call in advance to change or reschedule an appointment.

When you come for fittings, please ensure that you come refreshed.

Mandy de Klerk is a fashion designer for wedding gowns and evening wear, which includes matric dresses, only!

Mother-of-the-bride, bridesmaids and flowergirls are also welcome.

We can also assist with mens’ ties and cravats and boy’s bowties and waistcoats.
