Man of Rain is booked to events as per invitation from clients. We will prepare a live performance according to the theme of the event, the message intended for the invited audience and with the intention to attract a reasonable large number of people to such events.
We are available to perform at:
Free Admission Public Events; Larger Events with Paid Admission; Trade Expos; Weddings & Anniversaries; Funerals & Memorial Services; Graduations & Re-Unions
 
SOUND SYSTEM HIRE:
We hire out the DIXON SOUND SYSTEM to:

BAKKIE & TRAILER RENTAL:
We rent out the Ford Ranger 2500 Supercab and Bulperd Double Axle Trailer for the following:

• Office Supplies and Stationery
• Local & Long Distance

BUSINESS BACKGROUND:
Man of Rain General Trading, previously known as Man of Rain Productions, was established in November 1997, as a business that specialised in Live Performances and a Music Recording Studio. The name ‘Man of Rain’ is directly translated from ‘Monna-wa-Pula’ aka Monnapula Norman Nosi.
 
Monnapula was a founding member of a Galeshewe Kwaito group called THE FUNK MASTERS. The group produced music that entertained, informed and educated the people about the life and activities of the Diamond City (KIMBERLEY). In 1999, the group recorded and released an album, titled “Sghub-Sa-Baloyi”, which was received well in Galeshewe, Roodepan, Colville and Floors.
 
Due to other commitments of members, THE FUNK MASTERS ceased to exist, and this motivated Monnapula to start a Solo project in which he recorded and released a solo album, titled X-odes.
 
Man of Rain Productions was officially registered as a Close Corporation in October 2008. The business provided services such as Live Performances, Master of Ceremonies and a Recording Studio. In order to expand on the business activities and to enter into a broader market, Man of Rain Productions was renamed to Man of Rain General Trading.
