CEO – Consolidated Employers Organisation

WHO IS THE CONSOLIDATED EMPLOYERS ORGANISATION (CEO)?
 
The Employers’ Organisation was founded by Greg Wright November 1998, when it was officially registered with the Department of Labour in terms of section 96(7) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995. He formed the Employers’ Organisation after he recognised that many Employers were increasingly vulnerable to complex labour laws. These laws placed additional burden on Employers who lack the knowledge, time and expertise to deal with them.
 
Employers need a vigorous platform to assist them in a meaningful way. They need a voice that will do for them what COSATU does for unions and their members. Consolidated Employers Organisation strives to be that voice for Employers.
 
The Employers Organisation initially focussed only on businesses with less than a 100 employees. However over time and as a result of demands from bigger enterprises it was inevitable that this would change. CEO will ensure assistance and advice of the highest standard to all members.
