The AVBOB Group (AVBOB Insurance, AVBOB Funeral Service and AVBOB Industries) is Africa’s largest Mutual Society that provides a one-stop funeral insurance and burial service solution. AVBOB’s roots go as far back as 1918 when the society was a benevolent fund or burial society that had the capacity to conduct funerals as well.
AVBOB offers the entire spectrum of funeral services via an extensive national infrastructure consisting of more than 188 funeral agencies, 132 insurance offices and a manufacturing plant. Almost a century later AVBOB continues to make affordable insurance available so that people – from the richest to the poorest – have access to a dignified send off when their time comes.
