      I posted your question to our social media audience and the only response we got was to contact Dr. Piet, the local vet at Kimberley Vet Clinic. +27 53 832 4832 . He should be able to assist you. There are various jogging and cycling activities in Kimberley. I suggest that if you see a group of people, stop and ask them where you can join in. Hope this helps!

    Ek het n vreeslike ondervinding met akkomodasie oorgekom in Kimberley by n “gesertifiseerde AA recomanded accomodation, AA Quality assured, Superior accomodasie en met 3 sterre??? Dit was die grootste nagmerrie ooit, want dit was n vuil donker plek,bedompige reuk wat onmenslik is, onbeskryflik,helfte van die gebou agter die hekke le plat geslaan, iets waarvan Kimberley bewus gemaak moet word van, om ander toerisme,te beskerm wat met n slinkse manier ingeloop en besteel ook kan word. Ons is daar onmiddelik uit,nadat ons vooraf betaal het, het hul geweier om ons te refund. Dit was die minste, want besef eers agterna dit kon erger gewees het. Ons is die nag sonder verblyf,kon onself nie kry om daar te oornag en moes voor die Medi clinic in motor oornag waar ons vader opgeneem was, vir n groot operasie. Ons ken nie Kimberley, nes baie ander toerisme ook nie, voel om dit te rapporteer, gaan in op die website, en gaan dan na die plek self, dit is heeltemal n Scam. Dit is die Halfwayhouse in Kimberley 229 Du Toitspan Road.Kan u my dalk se waar ek dit kan rapporteer?

    My wife and I were considering visiting Kimberley for a few days, end of October. We wish to camp/tent and have searched for a pleasant place to stay close to your city. We have found no encouraging or welcoming information: the Kimberley Caravan Park looks bleak and is uninformative; the Big Hole Caravan Park has only very bad reviews, and the Riverton Langleg site is filled only with “Regulations”, no information on facilities, etc and no images. The one review is most adverse. The review of the Riverside Caravan Park is not favourable, and is some 55km from the city.

    Can anyone recommend a pleasant location where we can camp for three or four days, where the ablutions work and the water is drinkable? It would be a pity not to visit you because there are no facilities for campers.
