I ordered breakfast at wimpy before 9am and I got stale food, everything on my life looks old. I’m so angry the mushroom, pork bangers and bread they look like old breakfast that was warmed to serve me. I’m very disappointed I told them to take that bread the waitress didn’t say a word not even apologise she just walked away to get a plate.
Dear Franchise Owner and/or Manager. Do not blame your staff for this! Once is a staff problem or a bad day. More than once indicates poor management and a lack of interest from the powers that be.
The previous time I went to Wimpy North Cape Mall, I just turned around and walked out again. Front of house service was non-existant, although there was staff standing about. The smoker’s section was filthy, from the tables to the floors. The rest of the restaurant didn’t look much better.
Today, I decided to give it another chance, but again, The five or six staff members standing around the front desk, ignored me. They are there to serve customers, right? Why do they act like the customers has to ask instead of them offering?
Again the smokers section was filthy. I had to stand and wait for my table to be cleaned, and the table next to mine remained uncleaned for as long as I was there, as did the next table, where someone left 10 mins into my visit.
The only saving grace would have been the 30mins free wi-fi which they advertise. Don’t hold your breath. In the 30mins I wasted there, I was unable to upload the 3 medium resolution photo’s I managed to upload in less than a minute when i connected to my broadband directly thereafter.
You could say it might have been a one-time poor wi-fi connection, apart from the fact that I was informed by several people that trying to use Wimpy’s much advertised free wi-fi is a waste of time. Upon investigation I found out that most of the restaurants ant North Cape Mall offer free wi-fi.
So, why would I sit in a filthy restuarant, drink overpriced coffee and get frustrated with almost non-existant wi-fi? Quite simply, I wouldn’t.
Patricia the so called manager has Absolutely no idea what service is.
