Trident Clinical

Trident Clinical is a start-up Clinical Trial Site and was founded in 2018. We have since grown from 2 individuals working in a backyard garage to successfully securing a beautiful premises situated at Homestead Medical Center, Kimberley. We now have a team of 9 GCP Trained professionals excited to embark on this endeavor with us.
 
In a nutshell:
Clinical Trials are research investigations in which people volunteer to test new treatments, medicines, or undergo medical tests as a means to detect, treat, manage, or prevent various diseases or medical conditions. Some investigations look at how people respond to new medication and what side effects those medications might cause. This helps to determine if a new medication works, if it is safe, and if it is better than the medications that are already available.
 
Clinical trials might also compare existing medication, test new ways to use or combine existing medication or observe how people respond to other factors that might affect their health (such as dietary changes).
 
Many people believe that our participants are “guinea-pigs” for medical research, but this is not what Clinical Trials is about. It is about providing information for the future of medicine that could potentially create a life-saving product (or prevent a life-threatening one!).
 
Transparency is a key initiative in our industry. We provide our participants with all the knowledge they need about their trial as well as taking the time to educate them about their illness without any misleading statements
