The KIMBERLEY LONG WEEKEND PICNIC is a proposed annual community wide event, celebrating what makes Kimberley unique and proud, its people. It is a day to highlight our achievements and personality with engaging exhibits and fun activities while bringing the community together. Highlights include the community spectrum, multicultural youth fair, musical entertainment and interactive exhibits.
 
The picnic is an open day event which ideally focuses on creating a social atmosphere where business and pleasure will meet in an open area set up with no formality to it as this will be a youth oriented picnic.
