THIS BUSINESS HAS CLOSED.
In the past the coffee market was flooded with inferior, blending type coffees, packaged in an instant form. As a result coffee drinkers did not have much to compare their morning cup of coffee to.
Today however, coffee lovers have become much more sophisticated about the coffee choices they have – they gravitate towards better taste, flavour and aroma.
At Wiesenhof, we have a passion for good coffee. This is the reason why every franchise must become familiar with coffee terminology, and educate the customer in gourmet coffee.
Wiesenhof Coffees prides itself in having the largest variety of gourmet coffees, which is complemented with a full menu consisting of breakfasts, light meals, cakes, scones, muffins, croissants and salads.
Our infrastructure is of such a nature that we can ensure full support to all franchisees and our wholesale clients. We have a central coffee roastery from where we import coffees, pack and market our products. The central coffee roastery is a distribution point for products such as rooibos tea, mineral water and coffee related equipment.
Wiesenhof Coffees are gourmet coffee shops where the Wiesenhof Roastery controls the quality of coffee beans right through from importing, roasting and distribution, until it is served to our customers.
Wiesenhof Coffee Roastery adds to the pleasurable moments of drinking coffee by only using top grade Arabica beans. Pure and unblended, they pose the characteristic flavor and aroma of their native soil. Wiesenhof roast masters have the skill, experience and knowledge of the variety of beans, to adjust temperature and roasting time according to sight and aroma, to ensure you and enjoyable coffee.

Service VERY slow……
Het vandag weereens flou wit cappuccino by Wiesenhof Kimberley gekry.Ek het nogal gevra dat dit nie weer soos flou Wimpy koffie moet wees nie ! Weer my geld gemors ! Daar was ook niks skuim op nie.Die eienaar sal plan moet maak.
In the beginning of 2014 we had a meal at Wiesenhof as a going away meal for a friend of ours that was moving to the Cape. 4 out of the 5 of us ordered the Steak special whilst the other person ordered a Chicken Schnitzel. The 4 of us that had the steak special were all sick the next morning. Either the steak or the basting sauce was off, as we did not feel good the next day with stomach cramps and diarrhea. We used to frequent Wiesenhof as they were good value for money, but unfortunately if a restaurant literally makes me ill, I WILL NOT return. So they’ve lost me as a customer.
After avoiding Wiesenhof in the North Cape Mall for over a year we decided to give them a try again today. Not a good decision.
We were greeted friendly and promptly and we ordered our drinks and food. One cheeseburger and one Chicken & Avo Salad. From there on things went south.
We waited 45min+ for our food, in which time the waitress was absent.
When the food arrived there was no cheese or tomato relish on the burger and only a bit of lettuce and one lonely bottom slice of tomato. The Chicken & Avo salad was sans the avo and the feta was also missing.
After pointing it out the waitress she mumbled that the kitchen staff is chatting all the time instead of doing their work and rushed off to the Kitchen. A while later she came back with 2 side plates. One with the avo & feta and the other with a slice of processed cheese (no tomato relish though). By that time I already fought my way halfway through the burger (with an overcooked, dried out patty resembling cardboard) and did not bother with the processed cheese.
The Chicken Salad was thrown together without care. The chicken was overcooked and dried out, the lettuce was starting to wilt and the edges were turning brown and why waste time on fresh chick peas if you can get some out of a can. Not to mention the extremely sad-looking micro herbs.
The bill came and we were still charged for a cheese burger, even though I skipped the sealed slice of process cheese which arrived half way through my meal.
After this the very absent waitress did not receive a tip (apart from the slice of cheese left on the table). The staff was friendly in general and quick at the pay-point.
At R67.90 for a burger and R59.90 for a salad you better serve quality food.
The booth where we were seated was not very clean, especially the walls.
Overall a very disappointing experience.
